STRATEGIES/ INTERVENTIONS:

The existing retaining wall is used to support new development.
Three quarters of the highway is reclaimed for open space and redevelopment.
Level changes within the buildings and ramps along the sloping portions of the wall connect upper and lower
neighborhoods.

SUSTAINABILITY AGENDA:

The monoculture lawn becomes overgrown and invades the building.
Groundwater escapes through the wall into planting beds to promote plant growth on the wall.
